General Information

Mike originally trained as a dentist and worked for 12 years in general practice in Hamilton. He completed the Masters in Endodontics with distinction from Otago University in 2004 and is a registered Endodontic Specialist and member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  Mike has published a number of papers in scientific journals and regularly gives lectures to dentists for continuing education. He is married with 4 children and you would be likely to see him around the skifields, hockey turfs or Surf Lifesaving events.

Loren is our Practice Administrator who also qualified as a Dental Assistant in 2013. She is the friendly voice on the end of the phone and takes pride in making all patients feel at ease to have a positive dental experience. Loren joined the practice in a full-time capacity at the start of 2013 after having a small role whilst studying for her Bachelor of Sport. She keeps busy out of the office running Cambridge Motocross and travelling the country for various Motorcycling NZ events.

Cari is our full-time Surgery Assistant who joined us in September 2015. Cari originates from Zimbabwe and has a wealth of dental experience from working in General Practices both here in NZ and Australia. She is very creative and family orientated and enjoys time travelling and going to the gym with friends. Cari also has plenty of experience in graphic design, so is a woman of many talents!

Ana joined the team in October 2014 and has since had a break to have her first child Noah. She returned in 2016 working to assist Mike and Cari in a part-time capacity.  Ana is a caring and experienced Dental Assistant who loves the challenges a specialist practice presents. Ana returned home to NZ in 2014 after several years away in London on her OE, and loves cooking and spending time with her family.
