Common Questions

Fees

The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment. During your first visit we will discuss the number of treatment visits, their length, and the fees involved. Endodontic fees range from $750 to $3,200. It is our policy that your care be paid for at the time of treatment. We expect payment of our full fees for all ACC cases and will file the paperwork on your behalf at the completion of treatment for any reimbursments that ACC may give.

Will the treatment be painful?

We will take every measure to ensure that your procedure is in no way uncomfortable or painful. If treatment is needed, we will inject a small amount of anesthesia to gently numb a concentrated area of your mouth. For most patients, the feeling of numbness usually subsides after 2-3 hours.

What should I expect following endodontic treatment?

The root canal system inside your tooth has been thoroughly cleaned, and irritated tissue and bacteria that have caused you to need root canal treatment are gone.

It is normal to feel some tenderness over the next few days as your body undergoes the natural healing process. You may feel some tenderness in your jaw from keeping it open for an extended period of time.

Your tooth may continue to feel slightly difference from your other teeth for some time after your root canal treatment has been completed. However, if you have severe pain or pressure that lasts more than a few days, please contact our rooms

Will I need to return to your office for follow-ups after the procedure is finished?

Yes,  we recommend that patients return to the office 6 months after the procedure was finished. Our office will send a reminder notice to you when you are due for a recall appointment.
